Nestled inside the forest, Cave Springs offers stunning views, hiking, swimming, bird watching, and so much more. The campground is a short drive away from Slide Rock State Park and the city. Ponderosa Pines provide shade for every campsite on the grounds, and Oak Creek offers beautiful sounds that will narrate your entire stay.

Pine Flat Campground | 12248 N. SR 89A

Another very popular campground is Pine Flat. Campers who visit Pine Flat often choose it for the fishing opportunities. The stream offers trout fishing, swimming, wading, and all around beautiful scenery. If fishing isn’t your thing, you can enjoy the many hiking trails, wildlife viewing areas, and nature. By the end of your trip you will find that your camera is filled with photos that will impress all your friends back home.

Chavez Crossing Group Campground | Just Past Radisson on Oak Creek Cliffs Drive

Chavez Crossing Campgrounds are for those who don’t enjoy being too far away from civilization. Chavez Crossing is right in the middle of golf courses and homes. Visitors will still get the camping feeling; they also have the added security of being so close to town.

Manzanita Campground | 34°55’38.5″N 111°44’04.0″W

Fishermen will love Manzanita Campground thanks to its location. Sitting by your campfire, you can hold your rod out into a fishing hole just a few feet away. The usual Sedona area activities are nearby. You can go hiking and sightseeing but what really sells this campground is its proximity to the many fishing and swimming holes. The only downside is that there are not too many spots available. Reservations are highly recommended because spots are limited and fill up fast.

If wildlife is what you’re looking for you will find it in West Clear Creek Campgrounds. The environment provides a perfect setting for many different species to call it “home”. You can go hiking, swimming, wading, and fishing nearby.
